African Response: First BEE Research Company with ISO certification

BRYANSTON – African Response has just been awarded its ISO 9000:2001 certification, an internationally approved system for quality management, self assessment and third party assessment for business.

"We are exceptionally proud of this” states Beatrice Kubheka, Managing Director at African Response. "African Response has always adhered to very strict quality procedures. But because it is a requirement of many of our clients and because we want to improve our own customer satisfaction, we decided to get the certification ourselves".

The ISO certification is mainly aimed at continual improvement and enhancing customer satisfaction. Its advantages include an enhanced focus on quality, communication within the business unit, transparency and consistency in processes as well as training and knowledge transfer sessions. It also helps with monitoring and measuring processes and maintaining and controlling records.

"For a research company, an ISO certification can make all the world of difference’, states Kubheka. "When you are able to critically look at your processes and fix areas where the process is failing, you are able to improve both the efficiency and accuracy with which we present results to our clients"
